• Man greeting Man : Men shake their hands with eye contact when they greeting, but when it is their first meeting they will shake hands with slight touch in arms and elbow.

• Woman greeting Woman : For friends they kiss each other’s once on the cheek, when it is there first time handshake it’s enough.

• Man greeting Woman : At a first meeting a regular handshake. Friends, family will share a light kiss on the cheek with a touch on the arm and shoulder and in some cases a hug.

In UAE we all agreed that women's are reticent so If you’re meeting a woman it's in your best interest not to approach a Muslim women with a handshake or any other form of a physical greeting.
